Open the free design library: step 1
Go to github.com/VoltAgent/awesome-design-md (also at getdesign.md). It holds ready-made DESIGN.md files from real brands such as Apple, Figma, Vercel, Stripe, Notion and Airbnb, sorted by industry. Each file describes the full look: colours, fonts, spacing, buttons and layout.
Tell Claude about your business: step 2
Paste this prompt: "Here is my business: [what you sell, who buys it, how you want them to feel]. Look through the design systems in VoltAgent's awesome-design-md library and pick the three that fit my business best. For each one, tell me why it fits my buyers."

Choose for your buyers, not your own taste. Calm and editorial styles build trust for finance, health and professional services. Bold, high-contrast styles suit fitness, events and products. If two feel close, pick the simpler one.
Drop the DESIGN.md into your project: step 4
Copy the chosen DESIGN.md file into the root of your website project. Then tell your AI builder (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable or similar): "Rebuild my homepage so it follows DESIGN.md." Do one page first, check it on your phone, then roll it out.
Make it yours: step 5
Keep the system, swap the brand: your logo, your photos, your words and your own accent colour. Never copy another company's logo, name, images or page copy. The design system gives you the structure; your business gives it the personality.
